I have always been skeptical of mechanics when taking my car in for service. As a female, I was always afraid of being taken advantage of because I have been in the past. I was looking for a reputable shop to take my car to in St. Louis, and Rasch Express was recommended by a friend. She told me to ask for Tom. From day one, Tom has made me feel like I am his ONLY customer. He always comes into the office and greets me when I come to pick up and to drop off my car. Tom is very good about keeping costs as low as possible, and always explains things to me so that I am able to understand fully. I have never in my life found a mechanic whom I trust as much as Tom. Tom, I had to write and tell you thank you for taking such good care of my Mazda Tribute...I drove it 400 miles last week and I could tell the difference in the smoothness of the ride, and also, my engine coolant light has not come on again! (: Anyway, thanks again....you do great work and is nice that we have someone and someplace we can go that we trust and knows our cars.
Tom, wow, can you believe that all the challenges of my truck has come to pass!! I want to say that all of your best efforts have finally paid off. Most repair shops would have not stood by their word, nor would they have cared if I was happy or safe when I drove away. I appreciate your caring heart and work ethics. I knew that you would be able to fix all of the problems that my 17 year old truck had. You knew how much this truck means to me and continued to care no matter how difficult the challenges became. You are a unique man and I wish only the best for you in your life!! In the future my truck or other vehicles will return to Rasch auto as long as you won't shut the doors when you see me coming. I want to commend both Service Manager Kevin Albrecht and Service Technician Alan Burnell to you for the outstanding and exemplary service they provided in repairing my 1992 Saturn Sports Coupe. I'm very impressed with their honesty, integrity and attention to detail in following up to test and evaluate the functionality of the flex pipe and gaskets that were installed on my car on June 12th. I also appreciate their honesty in determining the original part installed on the 12th was defective. I doubt I would have known or noticed as my car ran more quietly than when I brought it in for service. I realize it meant additional service time and labor to remove the defective part and install the replacement flex pipe, at no charge to me, and test drive my car again afterwards. Thank you and Kevin and Alan very much for helping to maintain my Saturn and ensure my safety in driving it.
Hi! I just wanted to thank you and Rasch Service! I was witness to the way you treated the elderly ladies that were in your shop this morning! My Mom is 87 and she takes her car to a local shop in Independence, MO. The gentleman in that shop is so good to her and treats her with respect and honesty.....and watches out for her car and what she needs done on it.......just as you did the ladies this morning! From a daughter's point of view, it's very comforting to know that there are "car guys" like you out there taking care of somebody's "Mom"!
As one of your automotively challenged customers, let me thank you for the quality of service and the prompt attention your company has given to our car repair problems. More than the quality of your work and the fairness of your pricing, both of which have been exemplary, we appreciate the fact that we can trust what you all recommend. I would to send you a note regarding a terrible experience I had recently at another auto repair shop. I went in to have simple front brake service done on my car which turned out to be the worst automotive repair experience of my life. I had to go back three different times in a span of 10 days to have the issue rectified. After the third time, my new brakes continued to squeal. It turns out that this shop did not correctly turn my rotors and furthermore did not use the correct brake pads for my vehicle. After bringing my car to Rasch Service the problem was instantly diagnosed and repaired to the manufacturer's specifications. The staff at Rasch Service is extremely courteous, their pricing competitive and fair, and most of all, the quality of their work is superior. The next time you see and ad for what appears to be a "very good deal" on brake service or any repair service for that matter, keep in mind, you get what you pay for. I have never had an issue with the service at Rasch and they have certainly earned a customer for life.
